The 4.6-acre oceanfront land at 1380 South Ocean Boulevard, which was bought by Fortune in 2020, is now the site of a new Ritz Carlton Pompano Beach condo project. The project is being built on two parcels of land; one of which is oceanfront and one bordering the waters of the Intracoastal. The project will be completeed in 2025.
The Ritz Carlton condo tower directly on the ocean will soar 31 stories and the condo tower on the west-intracoastal side is 14 stories. The combined project totals 206 units. Residents will enjoy 250’ of direct oceanfront on Pompano Beach as well a marina for owners on a deep water canal.
The Ritz in Pompano Beach is oceanfront and the tallest tower “Beach Tower” will offer 5 different floor plans ranging from 1 to 4 bedroom units. All of the units will have direct and unobstructed ocean views except for the smaller one-bedroom units, which face west. There are two 4-bedroom units, which will be flow-through corner residences with east views over the ocean, west views over the Intracoastal, and then additional south or north exposure depending on the corner. The center units will be a 2 and a 3 bedroom residence. Floors 25-30 of this oceanfront tower will provide for larger residences with only four units per floor.
The smaller building “Yacht Tower” on the Intracoastal will offer 1 to 3 bedroom residences which will either provide for west-facing direct water views over the Intracoastal or east views, which will be facing the other tower as well as partial ocean views.
The Beach Tower has large corner residences. These are both ocean-facing corner units with 4 bedrooms and 3,000 SF+ of interior living space with a large wrap-around terrace.
The two towers will have their own individual amenities and owners will have access to both buildings. Each tower will have a stunning pool, gym, spa among other amenities. The west tower will have a yacht club and pickleball court for those owners who want to play a friendly or competitive game against friends or neighbors. The east tower will have a restaurant only accessible to residents and guests. Private cabanas and dock slips will be available for sale.

The common areas and interiors of the Ritz will be designed by world-renowned designer Piero Lissoni from Italy. His recent work included the newly completed Ritz Carlton Residences in Miami Beach. The interiors of the units will come finished with a selection of flooring, baseboards, and paint.
