1 Hotel & Homes South Beach is located in Miami Beach

1 Hotel & Homes South Beach, is an ultra-luxury condo in Soouth Beach section of Miami Beach. The condo was once the Gansevoort South Beach and The Perry South Beach Hotel, but after a complete, $250 million renovation, 1 Hotel & Homes reopened in early 2015 as a LEED-certified “green hotel.” In addition to the name-change, 1 Hotel was developed by Starwood Capital Group’s highly-acclaimed chairman and CEO, Barry Sternlicht, who is also the former chairman and CEO of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, and creator of the very successful W and St. Regis hotel brands.

The project consists of a 417-room hotel and 163 private ultra-luxury residences and be run by SH Group, which is Starwood’s hotel management company.

1 Hotel & Homes: The Residences

The 163 condo units occupy floors 9 through 16. 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom floor plans range from 830 square feet to approximately 4,000 sq. ft. The 15th and 16th floors feature exceptional penthouse residences with a distinctly different look and feel from the other units. There are three stunning oceanfront duplex apartments also on floors 15 and 16. These are the approximately 4,000 square foot oceanfront residences.

With the incredible success of Miami Beach condo-hotels such as: W, Setai, Fontainebleau, and Mondrian, there has been plenty of interests for 1 Hotel owners to place their condos into the hotel pool.
